Thermoforming, Vacuum Forming and Pressure Forming in 3 locations
We have your interest yet?
We are C&K plastics, a thermoforming company that does vacuum forming and pressure forming of plastic parts from one foot to 16 feet.
Thermoforming is a process of heating a plastic sheet and forming it into a desired shape, and offers several distinct advantages over traditional methods like injection molding and rotational molding.
This is the only plastic process that does not change the grain structure of the plastic. In essence, thermoforming is a shaping process that works with the existing material properties and grain structure, rather than fundamentally changing them. This can be advantageous in certain applications where preserving the material's original characteristics is important.
Need a complex shape? Twin sheet or secondary machining? C &K Plastics can produce a wide range of shapes and sizes, including intricate and complex geometries. And, we often have shorter production cycles compared to other methods, especially for smaller quantities.
Tolling costs - really 90% less?
The difference between injection molding and thermoforming is the tooling costs 90% less that injection molding. We don't have the tonnage on our machines required to make big injection molded parts, so our tooling is much easier to produce.
C &K Plastics, we can make as little as 100 parts especially for those medical applications, and we have been family owned for 60 years
